About Me
My background and training
My journey into the study of the skin started when I was training in clinical aromatherapy at The Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy in 2011. I have worked extensively since then with various plant and essential oils in body work and now with pharmaceutical grade skincare products, focusing on strengthening the skin's barrier function, protecting and enhancing general skin health.
I embarked on a training programme in advanced skin studies and skin assessment where I could really get to understand and learn about the physiology of skin in health and disease. This has given me the CIBTAC level 4 qualification as an aesthetic practitioner.
It goes without saying that I have a huge passion in skin and body care and I thoroughly enjoy working with my clients, providing advanced facials and skincare advice or through aromatherapy massages for relaxation and wellbeing.
My treatments
I take a very holistic and bespoke approach in my skin treatments and use the Dermaviduals skincare products. I work along the principles of Corneotherapy, which is a method that focuses on skin barrier health and preserving the skin's top layer which forms part of the skin's defence and general health.
My aromatherapy treatments are often based around massage where I will make a customised oil blend to suit the individual needs of my client. My massage methods are based around therapeutic massage and the treatment is always bespoke. I focus on complete relaxation and am experienced in working with chronic pain and fatigue
I look forward to welcoming you in my treatment room.
